Ensuring a safe, respectful and ragging-free campus environment for all students
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited within the College premises, in any part of the University of Delhi system, as well as in public transport. Any individual or collective act of ragging constitutes gross indiscipline and shall be dealt with in accordance with Ordinance XV-C of the University of Delhi.
The College is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students. Any violation of anti-ragging norms will invite strict disciplinary action.
Definition of Ragging
For the purpose of this Ordinance, ragging includes any act, conduct, or practice by which the dominant power or status of senior students is brought to bear upon newly admitted or junior students.
- Physical assault, threat, or use of force
- Violation of dignity or honour
- Derogatory targeting of SC/ST students
- Humiliation or ridicule affecting self-esteem
- Verbal abuse or obscene behaviour
- Abetment or encouragement of ragging
Disciplinary Action
- Rustication from the College
- Suspension from classes
- Fine with public apology
- Withholding scholarships or benefits
- Debarment from activities
- Withholding examination results
- FIR / Police action if required
If a student who has already obtained a University degree is found guilty, action including withdrawal of the degree may be taken.

Suggestions regarding campus discipline and anti-ragging measures are welcome and will be given due consideration by the College authorities.
The institution maintains zero tolerance towards ragging and encourages students to report incidents without hesitation to ensure a safe academic environment.
