Established in 2014, the
Placement Cell of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (Evening)
has evolved into one of the most active and professionally managed student bodies of the institution.
The Cell is committed to bridging the gap between academia and industry by providing structured placement opportunities, internships, corporate engagement programmes, skill development initiatives, and career guidance to students across all academic disciplines.
Over the years, the Cell has built strong collaborations with leading organisations including EY, Deloitte, PwC, Grant Thornton, RSM, Urban Company, KPMG, Wipro and Genpact. With more than 650 successful placement offers, the Cell continues to strengthen the employability and professional growth of students while establishing SBSC(E) as a preferred destination for recruiters.

Functioning & Core Operations
The Placement Cell functions throughout the academic year with the objective of creating meaningful career
opportunities and preparing students to meet evolving industry expectations through structured placement
activities and professional development initiatives.
- Campus Placements: Conducts placement drives with reputed national and multinational organisations from diverse sectors.
- Internship Opportunities: Facilitates internship programmes that provide students with practical exposure and industry experience.
- Career Development: Organises CV building sessions, aptitude preparation, mock interviews, group discussions and personality development workshops.
- Industry Interaction: Hosts guest lectures, webinars, networking sessions and corporate interactions with professionals.
- Placement Fair: Successfully organises one of Delhi University's prominent annual placement fairs featuring participation from more than 80 recruiters.
